hey all, anyone got a decent guide to fitting sti rear lights to a classic... i presume its straight forward.. take the old ones out and put new ones in, but anything special that i have to do....?

if its on a classic you have to have a fog light in the offside one.

do i have to change the wiring around at all? theyre official subaru ones from scoobyworld.

any sealing or is it bolt on and that's it?

You'll need alot of sealant around them as well or they'll leak water like a good 'un.

Use a hair dryer to loosen the sealer on the original ones, they come out a lot easier

5 nuts either side
hair-dryer for sealant as above
use plenty of newsealant when fitting new uns ,also as above.

as for fog light,i wired my fog light switch into the o/s reverse light and put a red bulb in it
ok,i lose a reverse light buy they aren't needed for mot's anyway
i do have a dark garage as well, at night,lol... and dont have any problems with just the 1
the red lights,i got 1 with 28 led's in it and beleive me , its bright
