Default ECU TEC

I currently have a ECU TEC TEC 2 mod on my my00, as I understand this is a mod to the ECU and then a base map chosen to the spec of ur mods plumbed in.

I am now geting to the stage where i want either a new map or a full remap to include my new mods.

Am I rite in thinkin a TEC 3 is the same mod but with a custom remap?

So here comes the questions.
Are my understandings correct, if nt what is the situation?
What are my options now n what are the costs involved?
where should I go for the work?
The inital work was done at Power Engineering in Middlesex.

ECUTEK remap (TEK3) would be performed on the car and is tailored to suit the modifications that you have on your car. Any ECUTEK reseller could do this for you, the Racing line, Power Engineering, Powerstation etc

Hello mate.

Go and see Allan Jefferey, the Tek 2 means you have the license and can now get it remapped (without the big out lay). You'll pay for his mapping, knowledge and time. Sorted.

He's based in Plymouth, as is Allan Jeffery who mapped my car without complaint.

Strongman, clearly you have a grievance to which I am impartial, but i'd be interested to know the reasons for your little outburst.

The reason being that i bought a car from Lee Jefferies (his brother and partner) they were both aware that it had been in a bad accident and was told by another garage to get rid quick, and indeed he did to me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he replaced it and its been in the garage for the last 5 months due to problems with the car. It is at APmotors in plymouth and i must say in the 5 months my car as been there i have seen 5 cars sold by the Jefferies brothers that have blown up !!!!!!!!!!!!. I hope this explains my comments.

The information above is not correct, in fact very far from the truth.

1) Alan did not know the car had been in an accident and is not connected in anyway with the sale.

2) Within 5 mins of being told the car had been in an accident Jon was offered his money back. Intead he requested another car. I sold him this car instead although I was going to keep it for myself. He was happy with this car until he took it to a ex scrap dealer for repair - he fitted an oil pump using sealant which contaminated the oil and cause crank / bearing damage.

Jon has come to see me many times since then without complaint in fact actualy came to my house to show me the car.

AP motors who also do a lot of work for me has repaired one other Type R, this car blew because the owner let it run out of oil.

I therefore can not understand the comments above.

Perhaps Jon would like to correct his comments.
