hi all i have a 96 sti import that's been coveted to mph and de-restricted the problem is whilst driving home yesterday i noticed the speedo was not working then shortly afterwards the cel light came on. can anyone please tell me what i could start looking for i think i will look behind the dash first to see if the cable has come loose but after that i have no idea.

look near your gearbox dipstick as that is where the speedo cable goes. Mine is loose as well but by pressing it back into place it sorts it out. The cel coming on ia related to that.
