Question Centre de-cat and Cat sensor (UK Turbo)

Afternoon folks.

Whilst being serviced tomorrow, Subaru will also be fitting a centre de-cat section for me... to my MY00 UK Turbo. I bought the section from H&S to go with the back box of theirs that I already have fitted.

When I loaded the centre section into the boot earlier I noticed that there's no additional holes other than what's at both ends. If the centre Cat has a sensor and my decat has nowhere for it to go, will the CEL come on if it's unplugged..?

Cheers,

Jonty.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds good to me! Reason for my asking was because I'd stumbled across an old thread where cats, sensors and CEL were mentioned, but the thread was never finished.

I'm sure if there's a problem SGT will let me know. Thanks for your time.

Aye, you're absolutely right but I've resigned this car to being my sensible, 4-dr family saloon which will 'hopefully' offer me trouble-free motoring and less agro during service and MoT times. My previous 2 cars have been de-catted and whilst I would always be able to get them tested, I think I'd rather do without the hassle now and mod a few subtle bits here and there.

The Impreza has enough power for me and my 9 month old daughter but she says the exhaust could do with sounding a bit deeper and she offered to sell tins of her SMA so I could get the centre pipe.
