Default ej25 conversion

Hi guys,

I am wondering if anyone can tell me what is envolved in converting an ej20 engine to an ej25. What parts are needed and what are the advantages of this conversion? What parts are used from each engine?

Any help would be great.

Regards,

Nick

swap the bottom ends, you can use the original heads from the EJ20.

Depends what sort of power your after?
The ultimate is a 2.33, but that wont be cheap
If your after 300bhp then stick with the 2ltr, if your after 400bhp then go for the 2.5, if your after 500+ then go for either a 2ltr or a 2.33.

Go to Projects section.
Search back about 12 months for 'dyney's' thread, it is all there.

Basicly you swap the 2 litre block for a 2.5 one and use all the bits from the 2 litre (heads, sump etc). You will need a re-map of the ECU to cope with the changes and you'll probably want a bigger turbo and ...............
