Clunk, clunk!
I've just had my new Eibach springs fitted on my classic. Drives really well and everything, but have noticed a clunking noise when im driving along!!
It will happen at any speed im doing, sometimes the clunk will be loud, otherwise quiet....
Does anyone have any ideas what it is? Im going to take it back to the garage that fitted the suspension, but wanted to go there with some advise/ideas, as to what it could be rather than them just trying to fob me off, or say its sometihng else?
Your help will be much appreciated!!

Is this in a straight line or going round corners or both? Are the roads smooth or bumpy?
Did you replace the shocks as well or just springs? Do the springs lower the car at all?
Could be bottoming out due to weak shocks, springs could be incorrectly seated. Best bet is to get it checked out

It does it on straights as well as corners, doesnt seem to make any difference, roads can be smooth or bumpy. No didnt replace the shocks, but the standard shocks arent very old.
The springs i bought are Eibach 25mm lowering springs - i understand these are the best springs to get if not uprating the dampers?

Was the geomatary set after fitting, as with the car being lower the settings will be out. (dont know if this would cause the problems that your having but you will certainly benefit from better handling)

No the geomatary wasnt done, im due to get that done next week (after pay day! lol!)
Could it be the screws at the top of the struts? There a little rubber 'cap' on them with a bolt that can be tightened and loosend with an allen key?
Please forgive my lack of technical knowledge!!! haha!

If they are standard struts, they're not adjustable. The hexagon socket is there for an allen key to prevent the damper rod rotating when the top nut is tightened/slackened.
