Default p1 ecu

hi,
can anyone help me?
will a p1 ecu fit my my99 uk turbo,there both 3 plug,will i need to do any mods to it?
any info would be greatly recieved.

very doubtful the P1 ecu is same as sti5 then remapped by prodrive.

what would happen i fi fitted it?would th ecar go bang or just not work?

The ecu was not remapped by prodrive, they basically asked STI to increase the knock correction. The P1 has the same ecu as STI5, which is mapped for 100 ron fuel but the P1 has broquets in the tank to increase the octane of uk fuel.
If you use this ecu in a UK car you will blow the engine due to the ecu running too much ignition advance.
