Dear all

i have a sti 2002 and i am thinking of upgrading

i was wondering if anyone can advise on the best air induction kit and where to
purchase from

STi panel filter
Purchaseable from several places, depends on where you are in the UK?
Scoobymania use to do them, Prosport in stockport does them.

Just depends on how much power you want really? 330+ is easily available, but its the torque that makes the car, in gear power is the way ahead

I went for a GREEN Cotton Panel Filter, £43 delivered from Japan Import Car Bits (eBay shop).

You could also take out one or more of your cats. As an example, I fitted a Magnex 6x4 Oval backbox and Magnex decat centre pipe and, combined with the panel filter, my pre-remap rolling road figures showed I was getting 222bhp from my bugeye, a 7bhp increase from standard.

As above, but a de-cat downpipe aswell will make the most difference as thsi is the most restrictive part of the exhaust...then a re-map to make the most of it
