Default Use The Force!

Just fitted a K&N (57i) kit to my scoob today, it now sounds like darth vader has taken up residence under my bonnet, is this the norm? or have i fitted sumthin incorrectly, having never driven a car with an induction kit before ive got nothing to compare against

Induction = Increase in induction noise and hearing the dump valve recirculate. Its all normal.

Can also draw hot air in from the engine bay, kill your MAF and cause lean running and ultimately melted piston in extreme cases.

are they more hassle than theyre worth then?

Mine killed my Maf had to put another in and have a spare too, Result = I put my orginal filter back on... Can take upto 3OO BHP...


Oh and if Any peeps need a MAF sensor for 2002 Upwards wrx , I have one for sale.... just pm me...

how long did u have the filter on before it screwed up the MAF ?

hmmmm, il see how it goes but will prob just put the old airbox back in and upgrade the panel filter then if thats the safer option
