Default where to mount wideband sensor

Hi,

I am about to decide on where on the downpipe to drill a hole for the wideband-bung that holds the wideband sensor in place.

I have read that the mounting should be done in a angle like 10 or 2 o'clock on the downpipe or is this not important?
Also, How far from the turboside of the downpipe is the best place?

Yes it is important to get the angle right or your senser wont last long. It must be before any cats

Does the sensor not have any instruactions...

The Bosch sensor can't be mounted at 6 o'clock for example and there are recomended distances as well.

You just need to enure that it's mounted in the upper section of it's diameter, if that makes sense, to prevent condensation build up on the sensor. It should not be mounted directly at the turbines exit as the excessive temperatures could cause premature failure and it must be mounted before the cat should you have one.
