Hello,
Decided to change water pump - currently removed rad, and auxilliary belts, cam covers and crank pulley - should get off cam belt tonight. Any advice on taking out water pump and refitting new one would be greatly appreciated. I have only just recently changed cam belt, and think that this is the reason why the water pump has began to leak. Car is MY 94 WRX by the way. Any experiences with water pumps leaking wolud also be appreciated - this is the only place I think that I can be losing water from - looking from under the car, I can see it dripping down over the outlet that the bottom hose goes over, but cannot see any further up. Obviously with the oil cooler still there, it's a bit tricky to see any more - will have to use a mirror tonight.
