Counterfeit Walbro pumps ?
Hi all,
Just a quick question from South Africa, I have personally come across 4 faulty walbro fuel pumps in the space of two weeks, now normally walbros are dead reliable and go on for ever, this has got me thinking that maybe they are actually counterfeit items ? or is the manufacturer just going through a bad batch ? or is there an incompatability with our fuel ?
Is this possible ?
Is it practical ?
How do I tell if genuine or not ?
They looked it, when in the bags
but now with odd noises and some are still hot when taken out the tank !
somethings not right thats for sure, any advice from the wizards will be greatly appreciated
Cheers
