Default De-cat Downpipe

Hi All

I have a question that has proberly been asked loads of times but i am a novice

Which de-cat downpipe would people recommend my car already has a magnex centre section and back box so i was thinking of the magnex but if anybody has some advice for me it would be a great help.

Also i heard somewere that if i fit a de-cat i will need to uprate the fuel pump
is this right ?

Thanks

Ben

The magnex would probably be a better bet whilst you already have a predominantly magnex system. Lots of people swear by Hayward & Scott downpipes, Revolution downpipes and TSL downpipes. I personally have a TSL Grp A downpipe which makes a nice improvment on my car, deeper burble and generally feel a lot more responsive.

Your fuel pump will be fine unless your planning further mods, in which case it may be better to swap it, but for now with just a decat exhaust it should be fine.

Hi benimpreza

You could use our 3" downpipe
The problem with your Magnex system is it reduces to a 2.5" fitting at the center section to fit the downpipe. Whereas ours is 3" all the way through.
If you were to use our downpipe you would just have to purchase an adaptor/reducer to make it fit.

As for the fuel pump, as yaytc2003 said this will be fine !

Hope this helps
