accelerator gone the pedal is loose
Last night I had to have my bug eye (01) Impreza brought home on a recovery truck
the accelerator pedal went. The pedal is completely loose but you can rev the car from under the bonnet. I have been advised that a rod? has snapped and when I called round car part/breakers yards I was told I would have to buy the whole accelerator unit. Can you purchase just the rod? and if so where from? Has this happened to any one else?
