Very poor acceleration and running
99 impreza wrx turbo
I have been strugling with this problem for a couple of weeks now - I recently had a new lambda fitted which improved the running problems a bit but even so - the car is hopeless at climbing hills until it gets reasonably warm - I have trouble accelerating and between 2500 to 3000 revs the engine sounds and feels like it's missing - under no load the engine revs nicely - but as soon as I start driving the problems start. Driving it feels like the engine is cutting out once the revs get past 2500, when the turbo kicks in the car behaves kangaroo style. Anyone got any suggestions please?
