Default USDM + JDM exhaust are they the same?? (Newage)

hi everyone

just fonund out that a UK spec exhaust wont fit a JDM on a Newage.... so will a USDM spec exhaust fit?? cos i am looking to buy a exhaust system for my STI 7 JDM, i have already got the downpipe fitted.....

you can use new age BB and classic centre and downpipe to fit JDM New age

thanks alot, i have already saw the post b4 i start this thread, the reason i ask is cos i wanted to order a system from the US... so just want to know...

Kevin,

You said you already had a downpipe fitted, would you mind telling me which type? For example who it is made by, whether it is UK spec or USDM spec, and whether is has a CAT or not.

amahrap,

Thanks for the info on using the classic downpipe and midpipe.

Did either of you notice any boost spiking after fitting the downpipe?

Sorry for all the questions, but I live in Barbados so shipping, duties, VAT etc., make mistakes very costly :-(

If you order a full turbo back it will fit either way. The JDM downpipe is shorter than the USDM one that is why it has to be turbo back.

Thanks for the input, it's appreciated. Gives me a lot of options now I am armed with a lot of info . I can go full turbo back (with either) or I can just order a USDM downpipe and modify the centre section to add the extra length required. I've got a nice axle back, and the centre section doesn't look stock.
