Default how to remove brake pot

does any body know how to take the pots out of a 2 pot front caliper to clean because only one of them is coming out when i put down the brake pedal

it was judering under braking and thought id have a look and that seems to be the problem
so any help would be great

You could try wedging the good one from coming out, which may force the sticking one when you press on the brake pedal.

Also try and soak it in wd40 for a couple of hours as that may help, just remember to clean off your brake disk and pad before you put it all back together.

As said put the pad back in the side thats coming out to hold it in and then push on the pedal.

cheers for that

i clamped the other pot and pushed down the brake pedal so the sticky pot came out, then heard a pop noise, so went and looked at the caliper and found the pot was hanging out,so i decided to pull it out and all the brake fluid went everywhere,

gave the pot a good clean and put it back in which took ages ,now i have to buy some fluid and bleed the brake and see if its all ok
