Default Exhaust Heat Wrap?

Quick few questions on exhaust heat wrap. I'm putting some ported headers on my car soon, and am going to heat wrap them.

.How exactly do you do it?, do you need to use any glue to stick it, or do you just wrap it round and then o-clip it?

.How much should i need?,

.I've heard its a pain in the ar$e! to do...what am i letting myself in for?

Thanks in advance!

50ft was barely enough for my downpipe man so ul need a lot more than that, ul need some sort of steel cable tie like a jubilee clip!

I used a set of ramps to get the front of the car as high as possible, get your self some latex/rubber gloves as i itches like fu*k and soak the hole roll in a bucket of water for a minute then start to wrap using a steel tie at the beginning and end to secure.

I'm sure i used 1"x50' + 2"x25' with some left over to do the tubular headers up pipe and 3/4 of the down pipe all with a 15mm overlap.

Got the exhaust wrap from group buy and i think the discount still applies just mention SN.

Cheers for the replys, so should around 50Ft do me then? or is better to buy more and wrap the downpipe aswell....?

Also, how bigger job is it getting the headers off, i've access to a ramp and all the tools i could need, but is it a bolt-on, bolt-off mod, or a bit more complex?

I would buy a little more and use it else where (DP/UP) if you have any left over.

I've never removed the headers but it does look a PITA.

Thanks for the advice, its not expensive so i'll buy 100fts worth, and wrap the d/p aswell etc...

Hope its not going to be too bad to fit, but i have a feeling it will be!
