Default management light

i was just out in my 2002 wrx and i gave it a bit of gas of the roundabout up till about 80 then the management light came on the car felt the same no power loss or anything. When i got home i stoped and started it about 3 or 4 times to see if it would go off but it never, so then i locked it with the button heard a click sound and then opened it and tried it again and this time the light was off i thought when the light came on it stayed on till the likes of a subaru dealer put it off anyone had this happen, anyone know wot it could be or would it be best taking it to get checked would it have stored a fault cheers MOMO

Hope you're not thrashing that car mate

Was your fuel below 1/3rd tank ?

If so, it could be a lean running detection as the fuel surged coming off the roundabout.

The fault will be logged and any Subaru dealer will be able to retrieve it for you.
