PPP increase in BHP with standard exhaust?
Hi guys,
As the title says, anyone know the increase in BHP that the Prodrive Pack shows when the exhaust has been reverted back to stock??
Cheers
Whoops, forgot to add it's a '03 Facelift and full exhaust replacement.

Sorry to get your hopes up with my reply... I have no idea, but I am interested in why you want to know!
I'm not sure many (any?) people would do this, hence I don't have much hope that you'd get an answer.
Good luck though!
Then, of course, there's the question of what car/model/year you're talking about! And do you mean just the back-box put back to standard, or the back-box and de-cat centre section? Or maybe just the centre section?
I doubt the back-box adds much power at all (maybe a couple of hp at best?), but the centre de-cat should make a bigger difference.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Basically most insurance companies that I can use don't recognise the PPP (oh and I have tried them all, believe me ), but I can add full exhaust and ECU remap as mods, which they will accept.
Just need to know the gains provided by the remap without the exhaust fitted. % wise would do fine.
I am aware the overall gain is from 225 to approx 265. But I wonder how much it is with the standard exhaust??
I reckon it's gonna be more like 250 or so without the Prodrive exhaust system(including decat), but I need the correct figure to keep myself right.

Aaah, I see! It all makes sense now...
Maybe someone from Prodrive could comment, most likely to be during the week than a sunday.
Assume we're talking about a blob-eye WRX?
<edit - just seen your edit>
