Mike - if you're about can you please answer this or does anyone else know ?

Reading up on the 2.5Xt specs the new MY06 model has 230ps as opposed to 211ps. Anyone know what the increase is down to ?

Also does the prodrive pack for the MY05 model apply or is there a new one and if so is it the same - ie 260ps I believe..

The yanks will hint that the 230ps was there all along, their dynoing of their stock 2.5 turbo XT left them thinking that the initial 210ps published spec was well under the actual power output.

There are some small changes to the engine that make a difference to the power output, the obvious one being the lack of pre-turbo cat on the 06MY and the addition of a secondary air system to replace it.

We are working on the 06MY package but expect it to have slightly higher figures than the 05MY kit.
