Question Crank sensor

I'm changing the oil tomorrow, and after reading the posts on here, i've decided to disconnect the crank sensor before I start the car after changing the oil (for the extra 2 minutes I figure I might aswell (Pslewis need not post a reply)).
Am I right in thinking the engine will turnover but not fire up with this disconnected?

Also, is the undertray easy enough to remove?

Cheers

The sensor can be unplugged under the alternator easily (i assume u know this anyway), yes you are correct that the engine will not fire.

Undertray is easy to remove.
3 12mm bolts by the front beam, 2 10mm bolts on each end left and right (on the inner wing), 2 12mm bolts on the centre support and two clips.
I have seen countless cars with these two clips broken, they are simple to remove.... pull the clip backwards holding the bottom with your thumb and the top with your fingers, refitting they just push back in place.

Dont forget to pre fill the oil filter prior to fitting it, this may take a while depending on oil grade.

If you just wiggle the cranks sensor loose withour pulling it out completely it makes it very easy to push back in..

Not sure what MY scoob you have but you may get a CEL after restarting. Don;t worry it'll go out after 5 restarts..!

OMG what would PSL say..?
