Red face Serious Overboosting, HELP...........

Hi, I have just spent the best part of today fitting my oil temp sender using the blanking plug above the piston under the I/C. I have taken lots of pipes and other bits and pieces off to get to the blanking plug and I thought I had put every thing back where it should be but now I have very very bad overboosting.

Just went for a drive and it feels a bit hesitant on pull away and then all seemed well. The revs and boost were climbing fine and then I put my foot down. Watching the boost I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it just kept climbing well into the red until WHAM....... Brick wall. I know how it feels now and I don't like it.

I don't think anything I have done intentionally would of effected the boost as after all, all I was doing was fitting a oil temp sender. I am guessing I have missed out a pipe when putting things back together.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong and if it was a pipe which one is it likely to be?

Thanks

Didn't touch them. I removed all the air intake pipes from the res box up to and including the I/C. Didn't remove any electrical wires either unfeasablylargegonads.

Is there any sensors/hoses around the inlet area that if damaged/unplugged, would effect boost control?

Thanks for your quick response guys

yes the boost control pipe coming off the nipple on the turbo..

Stick with checking out the boost control pipes as stated in above posts as that is where the problem is most likley to be.
