Anyone know if an ECU from an 02 WRX is a straight swap for 05 ECU. I have an Ecutec'd 02 ECU that I may want to swap with a mate prior to selling the car.

 

If this swap is no good to ya,let me know i have a standard 01 bug could do a deal ,is it tek 3 ?

It is a Tek3 with the dual map(for what it's worth. never really used it). I'll be selling the car shortly so may be splitting some bits off it. If there's anything you fancy give me a shout. Link to spec below. The swap with my mate is very much a 'maybe' but i'll let you know shortly.

OK, Richard i'd be interested in the ecu + uppipe and 3 port solonoid if one is fitted.

No, spoke to ScoobyClinic about this (very helpfull on the EcuTek front as well), apparently the ECU from an 02 is not a straight swap to a 05.
