Default Dodgy Leccy Windows

Hi
I have a MY93 WRX, recently my drivers side window has started playing up.
When you start the car, you can only use the switch once then it cuts out. So obvioulsy you can see the problem here.

However if you switch the engine off then back on it works, again only once though.

Anybody got any ideas?. I am confused. Could it be alarm related?

it could be alarm related if you have a window closure module fitted. don't think they are on the standard alarm though so that will only apply if you have an aftermarket alarm fitted?
