Get the exhaust parts second-hand and get a remap. Totally transforms your car.

yep, decat downpipe (uppipe if you can ) centre section and remap. You will probably need an apexi though on a '97,so looking at around £700 for one of those mapped. These mods will deffo transform your car.

Full decat, K&N I/K and electronic boost controller running 1.2 bar will see you 280 bhp no sweat, forget the remap with those mods you wont need it

solid droplinks all round, whiteline adj rear ARB, second hand de-cat and off to Andy Forrest for an Apexi- you should *just* do it on your budget, or not go too far over, and it will change the car dramatically.

you should also get the geometry done (not expensive but very worthwhile) and fit some braided hoses.

Save up about £500 more:

Apexi/AndyF after decat and a good panel filter
Whiteline bars
Powerstation alignment
Decent brake pads
Good tyres

And end up looking like.............................................. .....this.......

Graham.

decat downpipe and centre 2nd hand on here, maybe £150 all in?
2nd hand td05 £200
Group bought Tek3 remap £580
you also really need an uprated fuel pump (255L/Hr) £90
2nd hand FSE kit £50
total = 1070, you need an extra £70.

Buy my IHI VF28 Turbo & 440cc Injectors for £350 all in... you've still got £650. Used PFC for under £400... Andy F remap for £250... sorted...
