IF YOU ARE GOING FOR MORE MODS, AFTER YOUR TURBO GET SOME
650 INJECTORS,THEY SHOULD BE GOOD FOR UP TO 550bhp 600bhp,
AFTER YOU PUT IN A UPRATED FUEL PUMP.

If 20g is as big as you are likely to go then the STi pink injectors which IIRC are 555cc will be fine but if you do plan to go further in the future then get 650 or bigger but they will max out at about 500bhp.

PS will you two stop shouting (CAPS LOCK)

am currently running 286 bhp and am looking to increase to 360-380.the car has a full scoobysport decat system and itg panel filter but no other mods.spoke to the guys at zen motorsport who suggested the 18-20g turbo with sti injectors and an sti tmic with a remap should give me what i am looking for.

Paul and Rob have a lot of experience in tuning Subaru's and will give you good advice.

I use 550cc injectors and a 20g and make 383bhp on BP ultimate, if you have a std clutch/gearbox they may not last long if you are unsympathetic and the Subaru 4 pot will seem pretty crap once you have that sort of power.

PS 286bhp on a Td04 that's good power for that turbo have you had it remapped?

Butting in.. Couple of q's...

Do you know how much duty your 550's are under at full tilt?
What boost are you running max on the 20g?
Did you stick with the 380s/440's then opt for the 550's when moving to the 20g or did they go in at the same time..

Interested in the cutover point and indeed when my 440's would be @ max duty..

Cheers

have had an ecutek remap by scoobysport.already fitted hi-spec 6 pots with 335 mm brembos so stopping wont be a problem.are there likely to be any problems long term running the sort of power i am looking for?

That's something that nobody can answer, but many people have run that sort of power and more for may thousands of mile without any problems, but it certainly going to shorten the life of the engine, using good oil changing it regularly and treating the engine with care warming it up and cooling it down properly will help.
