no spark from point 1?

Question no spark from point 1?

got back of my 5 week hols and since then its been misfiring, when i pull off the ht leads number 1 point there is no spark at all, the other 3 jump happliy to a earth point.. any suggestions?..


its a 99, 2.5 legacy..

Try one of the other ht leads in number 1 if sparks its the lead

its when i pull the lead off the distributor (sp?). the other 3 spark to earth, the point is nice and clean. so i dont see how it could be the lead..its like there is nopower getting to the point..

finaly got enough cast up to get it fixed but still have the same problem from the brass point that the lead goes onto. there is no spark jumping to earth from it...

could it be the coil pack and how easy to change??
