rusting brake discs....

just put new OE discs on rear to replace rusting old ones and the hubs have rusted up after 2 weeks!! bugger!! any ideas on removing rust? would they look crap with hubs painted black? wheels are matt black... also..where can i get a set of black mud flaps?... any advice appreciated...

I painted mine with a paint called Pot Black. It's meant for motorbike engines/ancillaries, is heat resistant, cheap, a doddle to apply and dries in 10 minutes. It has lasted for years on my hubs
I can't remember where I got it but presumably a bike shop will be your best bet.
