just put new OE discs on rear to replace rusting old ones and the hubs have rusted up after 2 weeks!! bugger!! any ideas on removing rust? would they look crap with hubs painted black? wheels are matt black... also..where can i get a set of black mud flaps?... any advice appreciated...

 

Halfords do a heat resistant paint in an aerosol, personally I'd spray them silver but black would look okay with black wheels. scott lowe are supposed to do quality mudflaps they ain't cheap tho

 

I painted mine with a paint called Pot Black. It's meant for motorbike engines/ancillaries, is heat resistant, cheap, a doddle to apply and dries in 10 minutes. It has lasted for years on my hubs I can't remember where I got it but presumably a bike shop will be your best bet.

 

scoobyworld.co.uk do some nice mud flaps i used black hammerite on my hubs looks fine and not effected by heat. Just don't paint the surface that the wheel mounts to.
