Just had the scoob brake tested on a 4wd brake tester. Only 2 wheels on the rollers at a time, but rotated in opposite directions. I take it this is ok on the scoob without damaging the diffs. The guy doing it said it would be ok. I was a bit worried at the time, but everything seems ok no funny noises from underneath the car.

No its not ok, all 4 wheels need to be rotating, otherwise it will damage the diffs, hence the reason scoobs need to be lifted if they break down (your not suppose to lift/tow them).

I was there outside while he did it and didn`t hear any untoward mechanical noises. Also the operator had to specifically select the 4 x 4 mode. I was just wondering with the wheels rotating in opposite direct to each other, whether the diffs didn`t engage and sort of free ran.
I`m pretty sure that a company would not leave themselves open to being sued for repair of gearboxes if there kit wasn`t safe. i`m talking about the people who make the tester not the garage who would just be following instructions.
