Twin Exit Exhausts
I'd like to keep my classic MY00 Wagon looking standardish - therefore want twin exit performance exhaust. Are there many options, can only find the H&S back box. Anyone got one of these - is the burble still good? Power gains?
Thanks

Luke,
See my thread in Drivetrain on "Classic Exhaust Systems--Gains/Losses?"
You will see that as an "oldie" I am not too keen on too much noise associated with aftermarket backboxes and have retained my original backbox, despite fitting decat downpipe and centre section.
I am quite happy with result and to date, on rolling road(Dastek, Fife), I have 250bhp before fitting decat mid-section--with Tek 2 and Samco hoses/K&N filter-that's all, and expect now nearer 260bhp after fitting decat centre section.
So, why not try retaining your own backbox but when ready, modding rest of exhaust, bearing in mind you will have to make appropriate MOT arrangements.
Hope this is of use.
Dave.
