Question HELP...coolant leak...NOT h/gasket.

Hi all, my car's in the garage at the moment to have all engine seals, head gaskets and cambelt changed due to the start of head gasket problems.

Rang garage ( trusted ex-scoob main delaer mechanic ) for progress report and although all new items fitted and car running, there's still a leak from somewhere near water-pump housing. It's defo not gasket, seal or hose and is at least 3" from cylinder heads, neither is it t/stat housing.

Anyone any ideas?

I need my scoob back ASAP.

Thanx.

Si.

Stockcar, spot on mate, release valve on water pump was dripping down across manifold and down near block, Ian found it this morning, no idea why it decided to go now though but glad it did while in garage.

New pump fitted and car now back on road.

Thanx for the replies guys.

You're next Swifty.
