Default V1 STI power loss, oil leaks and dump valve

A little help please,Just got a 1994 V1 STI,and have got a couple of probs.
The car runs fine but with hard acceleration there is a violent but brief power drop at 4K and then at 5k and after that it is OK.Any ideas please

My second problem is an oil leak from the power steering pump which seems to be coming from the reservoir but I can`t see where.

Thirdly,Ok I said a couple of probs and not three but this is more of a question really and I will probably regret asking but here goes.I have a Bailey dump valve to fit but what is the small fabricated elbow for as one end fits the Samco hose on the dump valve but the other is too small to fit the original pipe. Why not remove the original hose and fit the Samco and valve on there or am I missing something here.

Please feel free to take the pi??

BTW the car is awwweesssooommmee !!!!!

Thanks for any help.
