Apexi PFC & Purge Solenoid

Can anyone 100% confirm that the Apexi PFC (as fitted to '97 Classic JDM) does NOT use the fuel tank vapour purge solenoid?

Why do you want to know? If you want to junk your carbon canister it doesn't matter if it uses it or not.... if it's not connected to anything it can't do anything
