hi i have a sti 96 import when driving in 5th quite hard all of a sudden the speedo cuts off and there iS like a total shut down of the engine until you ease off the accelerator then it comes back to life the only MOD's it has are a full decat and induction kit it has no gauges so i don't know what boost it is running at but any reply would be truly appreciated

yeah but the car will do 150 mph the shutdown does not happen all the time

 

Hmmm all imports are resticted to 112kmh due to the legal issues in Japan, this has to be resolved by either ECU or by a de-restriction device
