Strange new noise when coming on boost?
as above..
almost like a kettle whistle.
starts at about .1 bar positve boost pressure..
cars a mildly modded uk96 with standards tdo5.
please help?

Definately sounds like boost leak. I had a similar thing when I changed my TMIC and forgot to torque up the dump valve..!
Check these and all the pipe work/clips for tightness and also splits/holes in pipe work. If you've got a boost gauge check connections to this too.
