my friends 02 wrx has had a smack on the front which has resulted in the intake cam plastic pulley to break off .my question is regarding the 10mm allen key bolt which retains the pulley,are they known for being hard to remove as the one on this engine is i assume they are rh thread any body else had this experience.

they are std thread and can be quite a pain to undo.................if you remove the cam cover you will see that the cam has "flats" on it to lock it..........
