60K is the big one.

cam belt and all fluids including coolant. im not gonna recommend fluids cos there is so many opinions. do a few searches and make up your own mind!

Just my tuppence hapney's worth but.... - Would have thought it's worth the cash to get the service done by a specialist (i.e. not a Subaru Garage...) as it could affect your re-sale value. You pay a premium for the P1 over the equivalent STI5, as you no doubt know! (whether this is worth it or not is an entirely different argument) but if someone decides they want to buy a P1 rather than an STI 5 etc, I would have thought they'd be more keen on ensuring it had received specialist treatment (not that I'm suggesting it wouldn't from you!!!). Scoobyclinic are pretty cheap with their £20 an hour labour rate, so if you're on a budget could be worth considering.

Either way you go with it - good luck!

P1 cambelt at 60K? Mines an MY00 UK Turbo and was done at 45K. Thought classics were every 45 irrespective of version. Later cars were 60K

Might be wrong though.

Subaru changed the cambelt to 60K. My MY99 RB5 had it changed at 60 instead of 45.

p1 has a sti engine so not the same as any other classic UK cars. book says every 30K so you are best to stick to it. saying that the dealers are all over the place, recommending anywhere between 30-60k depending on what day it is.

Belt was done at 45k. I am ok to carry out this service myself, i prefer to KNOW what oils i have in my car etc. I have full workshop facilities, ie lifts, air etc. Just want to know what is recommended to change.

Gear oil
Engine oil
Plugs
Diff oil
Air filter
Oil filter
Fuel Filter
Check other levels
And what else??
