FMIC and keep org airbox
Simple really just want to know if theres ANYWAY to have a FMIC without induction kit. By running the pipes another way. Dont want a pace one though.
Its a 2000 Classic uk and hear there prone to maf problems if you use an induction kit.
Any advise would be great thanks.

i am planning to try this on my 97wrx
im thinking of cutting the bottom of the airbox away to clear the pipe and sealing the platic back up
not sure if it is fully possible yet mind.
im not keen on induction kits either

I dont think I have ever seen the stock air box retained with the popular FMIC kits out there. Too bad cause it is really the best set up.

Could you not remove the resonator from the inner wing, cut a new hole in the inner wing around the airbox then make up a custom pipe to feed the intercooler from the turbo?.
