I am thinking of getting a Front mounted oil cooler for my car and have 2 choices.

1) Oil cooler that uses the existing oil filter
2) Oil Cooler that allows the existing oil filter to be moved.

Is there any benefit to moving the oil filter or is it ok where it is?

There is a 100€ price difference between the 2 kits.

I do not mind paying the extra 100€ if it will be of any benefit to me but if not then is there really any point?
