Default Flatspot when cold

95 import, starts fine but then when pulling away the first half inch of throttle and the engine almost dies. More throttle and it picks up fine. It does this intermitently until the engine is warm and then all is fine, performs as normal. Did a self test and no error readings. Its been doing it for two days now, any ideas?

unplug the maf if your car starts and ticks over (will be a bit lumpy)good chance its the maf on its way out as the car should not run with it disconnected the reason I belive is that the ecu has found the fault and has adjusted the set up to try and counter the fault. If it is the maf it should be sorted out sooner rarther than later as I am told it can damage the engine.

hope this helps
