Question Engine bay rattle/Knock!! ???

Hi lads

I got a problem in the engine department or that general area. Front left to centre as you sit in the car. It's a heavy rattle sounds more like something heavy jumping around somewhere.

I'm thinking it could be one of two things, a bush gone on the suspension or an engine mount.

The sound really picks up as you accelerate up a bumpy hill.

Has anyone come across this before and how easy is it to fix?

Cheers
Murfs.

Suspension / bushes or perhaps engine mount as you say. Car year / age / mileage - would these have worn by now ?

Is battery loose!

Something is moving if it gets worse as you go over bumpy ground ... sometimes decat downpipes can bang on gearbox or chassis but they are on drivers side of car ( RH).

Battery is bolted down for sure. The car is a my97 GT 555 with very little mileage, below 35K.
I think I'll just lift the damn thing and have a look.

But cheers and thanks for the answer.
