im in the process of sorting a few mods on my recently purchased 1993 type ra (240 bhp),and need some advice incase ive missed anything....im looking for a reliable 280-300 bhp and want a safe engine! its suffering from a up pipe leak at the moment and is being replaced with a stainless item this week,as well as a stainless decat down pipe,to go with the stainless scorpion back box already fitted....the only other mod as far as i know is a hks panel filter....im thinking that all i need now to get 280-300 bhp is

remap or apexi power fc(or similiar)
uprated fuel pump?

ive read about boost controllers,fuel cuts,knocklink? etc ...do i need any of these?

any advice appreciated
