Drivers side glass - advise on changing & type req
Hi,
I've bought a drivers side door glass to replace my scratched version ( vertical scratches that they all get).
The glass I have is immaculate but after reading changing instructions on here I'm a little confused.
Most say undo two bolts, with the window half down, swap glass, then replace the bolts.
However my "new" glass has five holes in it. Two at each end holding some brackets on, and one in the centre with a bolt sticking out.
Does anyone know if all classic shapes use the same glass shape / type ?
Cheers
Chris

Sorted.
Two 10 mmm bolts to undo which leaves the brackets attached to the glass.
Once the glass is out a pair of snip nose pliers unscrews the 5 bracket bolts - stick the brackets on the new glass. waggle it for 1/2 hour, curse, trap fingers, curse some more and waggle like you've been doing for the past 30 mins and she'll pop straight in !
Replace the two nuts and stick the door panel back on - job done [][]
