i have just fitted a knock link but as soon as i turn the ignition on, the bottom light is slightly lit even without the engine running, is this correct or have i done something wrong? or is it faulty?
also do you know if you can buy the sticker for the front as due to fitting the sed item i have some how managed to rub the gold lettering of the front and it looks a mess???

Yes bottom light should be slightly on. Ensure you test the knocklink by tapping the sensor with a spanner. All leds should light up inc red.

My bottom light is faintly on aswell. As far as I know this is effectively the power light to show it is on. As for the sticker, try the place that you got it from they might be able to get one from their suppliers. Alternatively contact the manufacturer directly.

 

A BIG THANKS to you all for you super rapid replys as for the sticker i bought the Knocklink secondhand off hear and so havnt got a clue where to get the sticker still ????

 

It's advisable not to tap the sensor directly as you can damage it..! Tap next to the sensor on the block.

PS you need extra long arms or someone to help in order to see KL and tap at same time.
