Default No engine check light

I have recently encountered a problem with my MY93 WRX Jap Import. The Car is now only boosting to 0.5 Bar and the ems has cut the revs to 4.5K, I have connected the connectors to put the ems into engine check mode however there is no light on the dashboard. The actuator apears to be working fine and the boost pressure control solenoid has been cleaned and the car was fully servid about a month ago. Has anyone encountered this problem as I need to check the ems fault codes to rectify the problem. Hel would be appreciated.

The fault occoured on the motroway when overtaking an HGV, at75mph so the fault ha'nt occoured from being thrashed.

no they're definitely bulbs. i had to take my 95 clocks to bits the other day to fix them and they are just the standard twist-in type.

it should illuminate with the ignition though.
