Need to remove the centre console to reroute some wiring up to the top cubby hole, but cant work out how to get the blxxdy thing off !

Have got the centre cowl off around the handbrake / gearstick, but cant see how the centre console is fixed in place - is it just clips ?

Its on a 98 4 door UK turbo if that helps - dont really want to force it and then end up cracking it

Thanks, managed to get it sorted without removing the column by routing them behind the dash and up through the hole by the air ducts ( with the help of some gaffa tape and a long coathanger ! )
