Question So which is better,cone or panel filter ?

as above really , which is better for performance and noise?

On a scoob unless you're running big bhp, stick with an uprated panel filter. i beleive they're good for up to about 400bhp. Engine gets too hot tor an unsheilded induction kit and wont benifit you much.

Alternatively go for a cold air induction such as APS. I've heard they're really

I have a Large K&N on my sti its about 360bhp , Its fed into the wing to get cold air , and it sounds good with the fmic, >> Im told the aps is not very good !!!! against the K&N >> But who knows ??? cheers Alan.

The aps uses a K&N filter

i use green panel filter with full decat on otherwise standard setup,works really well for me! why change something that don"t need changing?!
