Default Help Needed

Hi all,

Looking for any advise if poss it seems that we I start the car after running for a couple of minutes there is what seems to be some sort of smoke coming out of the engine bay some where near the left head in front of the turbo. After running the car for about 10 - 15 mins it goes away .

It does not smell like burning, but then on the other hand it does not look like water steam.

My car is a 96 wrx sti, was wondering if anyone else out there has experienced the same sort of problem any help will be most welcome.

thanks in advance.

Alan.

Sounds like you got a oil leak from the rocker covers, common problem.
Oil usually drips onto the exhaust headers then gets burnt when car is started giving the smokes & fumes smell.
