Question 2.2 stroker kit

hello all.. i am thinking to install a 2.2 toda stroker kit.. any one have any information about it ? or can tell me what would i gain from installing it? people here are telling me i will see big improvment on the low rpm's. thank you all in advance.

its nice to have 2.2 Scooby but not toda look for MRT, BPM or JUN good low power reduce the lag but my advice to you close deck block because installing 2.2 on open deck its mmmmmmm not that good idea

thank you for your reply. whats the difference between the open deck block and the closed deck block? i am sorry i didnt mention what is my car. its my02 sti7.

or just go the 2.5 route and ditch the stroker kit idea, it would probably work out cheaper in the long run.

neilo i would love to do that but i cant. we are no allowed to place a larger displacment engine. but with the same original engine i can stroke it to be 2.2 it should work and pass.

High Boost and or Continuous Boost causes extreme pressures in combustion chambers which actually makes the bore move within the block causing the head gaskets to fail. This will inturn cause the engine to overheat, The Closed Deck block has made the biggest difference in the reliability of the engine under high boost.

i Don’t know how to but picture to can show you the different but check my sit and you will know

I think that your sti7 is semi close deck it’s nice
