High Boost and or Continuous Boost causes extreme pressures in combustion chambers which actually makes the bore move within the block causing the head gaskets to fail. This will inturn cause the engine to overheat, The Closed Deck block has made the biggest difference in the reliability of the engine under high boost.
i Don’t know how to but picture to can show you the different but check my sit and you will know
I think that your sti7 is semi close deck it’s nice
